Course
SYS 9041 Systems Engineering Architectural Drivers On Demand Micro-Course
Time limit: 90 days
Full course description
Architectural Drivers
Before the architecture team starts developing details of the solution, they need to understand the key influences on the architecture. This micro-course explores architectural drivers that influence the architecture design and architecture principles that influence the architecture team. The architectural drivers include high-level functional requirements, technical constraints, business constraints, and quality attributes.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this micro-course, students will be able to:
- Identify key influences on the architecture design and the architecture team
- Identify a means to formulate architecture principles
- Identify a means to formulate different types of architectural drivers
- Understand the difference between high-level functional requirements, constraints, and quality attributes
This micro-course addresses the following INCOSE learning objective:
- Define awareness level concepts of architecture definition
This Micro-Course is apart of the Systems Architecture Digital Badge track.
