SYS 9044 Systems Engineering Architecture Framework: TOGAF On Demand Micro-Course
Time limit: 90 days
Full course description
Topic Description: Architecture Framework: TOGAF
While the motivation for creating The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) standard in 1995 was enterprise Information Technology architecture, the resulting standard applies to all systems architectures. TOGAF provides a general method to design and evolve system architectures. This micro-course provides an overview of the TOGAF standard version 10 released in 2022 with details on the Architecture Development Method (ADM), ADM techniques, and architecture work products defined in the Content Framework.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this micro-course, students will be able to:
- Identify key aspects of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) version 10
- Understand how to use TOGAF to develop systems architecture
- Understand the steps in the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM)
- Identify ADM techniques that can be used by a systems architecture team
- Identify architecture work products from the TOGAF Content Framework
This micro-course addresses the following INCOSE learning objective:
- Define awareness level concepts of architecture definition
This Micro-Course is apart of the Systems Architecture Digital Badge track.
